1. Service Description
Chart Library ("the Service") is operated by AlphaForge LLC, a Florida limited liability company. It is a web-based tool that provides historical chart pattern matching and analysis for informational and educational purposes only. The Service searches a database of historical stock price data to find patterns that visually resemble a user-provided chart or query, and displays historical forward returns for those matching patterns.
2. Not Financial Advice
Chart Library is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on this Service constitutes personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation to invest. All content, including AI-generated summaries, forward return statistics, and trade simulations, is provided for educational and informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
3. Assumption of Risk
Trading and investing in securities involves substantial risk of loss, including the potential loss of your entire investment. You assume full responsibility for any trading or investment decisions you make. The historical data and pattern analysis provided by Chart Library does not guarantee or predict future results. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
4. Data Accuracy
Market data is sourced from third-party providers including Polygon.io. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of any data displayed on the Service. Data may contain errors, omissions, or delays. You should verify any information before relying on it for trading decisions.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chart Library and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, any losses resulting from trading decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
6. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate pattern summaries and analysis. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. These summaries are automated interpretations of historical data and do not constitute professional analysis.
7. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using Chart Library, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
10. Dispute Resolution
You agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Florida. You agree that any arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AlphaForge LLC, its officers, directors, members, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the underlying algorithms and machine learning models, are the property of AlphaForge LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without prior written permission.
13. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
14. Subscription and Refund Policy
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No pro-rated refunds are provided for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@chartlibrary.io within 14 days of the charge.
