Daily Stock Chart Pattern Scanner

The most interesting chart patterns from the latest trading session, ranked by pattern interest score. New picks drop each trading day after market close.

Each pattern shows historical forward returns from similar chart setups. Not predictions — just what happened before.

How the Daily Chart Pattern Scanner Works

Every trading day after market close, Chart Library scans thousands of stock charts across the US market. Each chart is converted into a 384-dimensional embedding vector that captures the shape of price action, volume profile, volatility signature, and VWAP deviation. We then search our database of over 24 million historical chart embeddings to find the most similar historical patterns for each stock.

The top picks are ranked by a pattern interest score that combines match quality (how closely the historical patterns resemble the latest chart), signal strength (how consistently those similar patterns led to the same forward outcome), and pattern distinctiveness.

For each pick, you can see the 1-day, 3-day, 5-day, and 10-day forward returns that followed when similar chart patterns appeared in the past. This is not a prediction or trading signal — it is a historical reference showing what happened after charts that looked like this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a chart pattern scanner?

A chart pattern scanner automatically analyzes thousands of stock charts to identify notable technical patterns. Chart Library scans the entire US market after each trading session and ranks the most interesting chart setups by pattern similarity, signal strength, and distinctiveness.

How does Chart Library find similar chart patterns?

Each chart is converted into a 384-dimensional embedding vector that captures price action, volume, and volatility. We then use Euclidean distance search across millions of historical embeddings to find the closest matches in under 10 milliseconds.

How often are the daily picks updated?

New daily picks are generated every trading day (Monday through Friday) after market close. The scanner runs overnight and results are typically available by the evening.

What do the forward returns mean?

Forward returns show what happened 1, 3, 5, and 10 trading days after historically similar chart patterns appeared. These are real historical outcomes from the matched patterns, not predictions or forecasts.

Is this financial advice?

No. Chart Library is a historical pattern research tool, not a financial advisor. The forward returns shown are based on past data and do not guarantee future results. Always do your own research before making trading decisions.
